These terms cover how projects work at Designs Dirt Cheap. By submitting a design packet or paying for a project, you agree to them.
How projects work
Submitting a design packet through /start is free and doesn't obligate you to anything. After reviewing your packet, we'll follow up with a fixed price for the described scope of work. That price is confirmed with you before any paid work begins — no hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
Scope and revisions
Pricing is based on the scope described in your packet. Requests that go meaningfully beyond that original scope (a new deliverable, a different service category, major direction changes after final approval) may be quoted as additional work rather than included automatically.
Payment
Payment is collected securely through a third-party payment processor once you've approved your quote. Work begins after payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ownership
Once a project is paid for and delivered, full ownership of the final design transfers to you — including copyright and the right to register applicable trademarks. Delivered files are yours to use, modify, and license however you choose, with no royalties or ongoing fees owed to us.
Reference images you upload to describe your vision remain your responsibility to have the rights to use as inspiration; we don't claim ownership over materials you send us for reference.
Turnaround
Turnaround estimates given with a quote are estimates, not guarantees — actual delivery times can vary with project complexity and current workload.
Limitation of liability
Designs Dirt Cheap provides design services as described above. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of delivered designs, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
